MILLION HAIR TRANSPLANT

FUE ( Follicular Unit Extraction )

is a hair transplant technique without strip harvesting conducted by using a small round punch to extract follicular units from a patient’s donor area causing only small scars dispersing around the back of the head. Accordingly, FUE is not considered as a hair transplant technique with no scar.

Follicular unit extraction (FUE) is a hair transplant technique that involves extracting individual hair follicles from the donor area and transplanting them to the recipient area. FUE punches are the tools used to extract the hair follicles, and there are several types of FUE punches available.

At MHC, we have several world-class standard FUE tools including PCID by Dr. Cole, WAW FUE SYSTEM by Dr.Devroye,  Trivellini System,  Dr. UGraft® system, S.A.F.E. System by Dr. Harris, S.A.F.E.R. (Neograft) and ARTAS Robotic hair transplant that is also considered as a kind of FUE tools.

The three main types of FUE punches are sharp punches, blunt punches, and hybrid punches. The dimensions of punch tool used for extracting follicular units are ranged from 0.6-1.2mm.
